Thursday we took our weekly trip to Disney. It's getting really crowded now, so we had planned to only stay a couple hours. We checked out the new Pooh Corner store and found a couple of cute items to get Tabitha that commemorate the new ride. We also rode the ride again and it is still just as adorable. Afterwards we went over to California Adventure on a whim to see if the new Playhouse Disney Live! show was open early and it was! The show is fabulous! We all sit on the floor with our kids and it's very interactive. The kids are encouraged to get up and dance several times and other little things. It's hosted by a live person but the show centers around Bear in the Big Blue House's Tutter and his shyness. Bear, Ojo, Pip and Pop were all there. Then it moves on to a Rolie Polie Olie scene that was pretty cool and then Stanley. Stanley is not a show that we've ever watched, but I really enjoyed his scene so I think we'll probably record an episode this week to see if we like it. After Stanley it went to The Book of Pooh and it was so well done. They look just like on the show. And then it was back to Bear. They even had Luna and we all sang the good-bye song. My kid was so happy and so excited to be there and it literally brought tears to my eyes to see her so happy. We left after that and didn't do much else Thursday or Friday other than errands here and there.
Saturday was dance in the morning and then I took Tabitha with me to go scrapbooking. She had so much fun. For the first 2 hours she played very nicely by herself with the toys we brought and watched a movie, but then one of my friends showed up with her daughters and the 3 girls just had a blast. They got to go outside and play with the hostess' dog and run around and just generally scream as only girls can when they're having fun. They were also given colored chalk to draw with and Tabitha was just covered in chalk. I had to borrow a shirt from the hostess because I could not take Tabitha in the car like that. Thank goodness today is laundry day! I was able to get a few layouts done, of course none are scanned. We'll see if I get to that today or not. Since it went so well, I'm not going to hesitate to take her again if I can't get a sitter.
