02/25/2004 Archived Entry: "stuffy"

The child woke up last night just after Chris got home and was burning up. She kept telling us how hot she was. So we changed her into very light PJs and gave her fever reducer. When she woke this morning, she had a slight fever again and still no other symptoms. But I was sure she had some kind of virus so we stayed home from class. Now she has a stuffy nose, so the rest of the cold is sure to follow.

We were supposed to go see the new Snow White show at Disneyland tonight, but Tabitha's illness and impending rain kept us home. Chris and I did some heavy cleaning in the living room and eliminated the large area rug and rocking ottoman. Just taking out those two items really opened the room up in a positive way.

Not sure what's on the agenda for tomorrow, it mainly depends on how the little one is feeling.
