04/19/2004 Archived Entry: "catch up"

It's been a long week. First Tabitha was sick, then I was sick and then Chris was sick. Plus we've still been busy as heck. Way too many plans and it's been a relief the past 3 days to have nothing going on. The picture up top is Tabitha with the Easter Bunny (obviously) at the egg hunt we went to the day before Easter. The current photo to the right was taken on Easter at my in-laws' house.

I wanted to get back into updating this site, but I don't wish to recount the past week in detail. In short, we went to the zoo Easter morning for their Spring Fling then went to my in-laws' for Easter dinner. Tuesday evening I took Tabitha to Kids Club at the mall where the volunteer at our table was overly concerned with how we did the craft and was making me nervous as she watched us too carefully. Wednesday, Tabitha went to day camp at the ranch where she takes riding lessons. It was for three hours but Chris and I stayed in the area rather than come home and had a lovely breakfast together and did a little browsing at some of the shops. Thursday morning Tabitha had her riding lesson. She takes her lesson with another little girl right now, but I'm not so sure it's for the best. I'm going to give it a couple more weeks and then decide if we want to go back to private lessons. Friday, Chris and Tabitha had tickets to see the band They Might be Giants. They had a string of good luck and ended up getting backstage passes and got to meet the band. Pretty darn cool :)

Whew! This week is going to be full as well. At some point I need a vacation, lol.
