04/24/2004 Archived Entry: "Wiggles"

I took Tabitha to see The Wiggles perform at Universal Ampitheatre on Thursday. When the tickets went on sale, I sat by my computer and waited until 10:00am on the button to get into the Ticketmaster site and had them purchased by 10:00:10. So I was able to get front row seats, which to my kid, is a very big deal. When we got there, I was awed by just how close we actually were. Our seats were about 5 feet from the stage.

They started their show a bit late and it wasn't easy keeping her entertained for the extra 25 minutes, but it was so worth it. Tabitha loved the show. The guys all looked like they were having such a good time and I love seeing Tabitha so thoroughly happy. You know, I've taken her to 4 other kids' shows and this one at age 5 is probably the one she was most into. The little kids all enjoy the shows, but they kind of just sit there awestruck. As a 5 year old who knew what to expect (though we've never seen The Wiggles before) she was just so into it and dancing and singing and just having a good time. I thought this would be our last kids' show, but maybe it won't be? Anyway, it was a great time and I'm so glad we went.

Today we are going to the Renaissansce Faire with some friends. I haven't been in years, definitely not since Tabitha was born, but our friends go every year so we'll just let them lead us around. Last night I was telling Tabitha how we'll see people in costume dressed like Kings and Queens, Princes and Princesses but they are just dressed up and she says to me "But I'm a real princess, right?" LOL Yes, Honey, you are :) I think she'll have a great time and I'm really looking forward to it.

I haven't mentioned, but I created a new webpage. It's pictures of all the characters Tabitha has met at Disneyland. Plus there are also pics of Tabitha in all her Disney costumes. You can find it at http://tarazandra.com/tabitha/disney.

You did a very nice job on the Disney pages. She looks so cute in the dress up clothes!
