10/20/2004 Archived Entry: "Hawai'ian stuff"

We went to my see my mil yesterday so she could give us our souvenirs from her Hawai'ian cruise. Tabitha received three "grass" skirts, complete with little halter tops. Too cute I must say! She and the baby also each were given a Hawai'ian print dress. I was given a very nice silver necklace. Chris and Tabitha both received Ukeleles so it's been loads of fun for my ears around here, I must say. There were also other little things mixed in that were appreciated. That was really all we did. The rain doesn't make us want to go anywhere at all, though I did run to Target and Motherhood Maternity.

Today is going to be a whole lot of nothing. Tabitha and I each have some things to do and then we'll do lessons and I think we'll finally bake our apple pie that we've been meaning to do ever since we went apple picking. That should make the house smell just heavenly :)
