Disneyland: The Mad Hatter can be in various areas and sometimes you can catch him just wandering around. Specific places to check would be the outside area of Refreshment Corner on Main Street, in front of Casey Jr. Circus Train in Fantasyland and Small World hub in front and to the right of "it's a small world" in Fantasyland.

Maleficent

Disneyland: Maleficient is rare even for a villain. We last saw her Halloween 2002 at the Small World hub in front and to the right of "it's a small world" in Fantasyland.

Disneyland: Mary can usually be seen in one of two places; In front of Casey Jr. Circus Train in Fantasyland, and on Main Street between Main Street Photo and Plaza Inn. She often has a penguin or two in tow and sometimes Bert as well.

Disneyland: Merlin is very easy to meet as long as there is a Sword in the Stone Ceremony in front of King Arthur Carousel. Watch the cute show then hang around afterwards and Merlin will do a meet and greet. You might even be picked Temporary Ruler of Disneyland!

Disneyland: The easiest way to see Mickey Mouse is to simply go visit him in his house in Toontown. He is also sometimes on the east side of Main Street near Disney Showcase and The Mad Hatter shops.
DCA: The Sunshine Plaza area marked by the fountain and the giant sun. Also Sorceror Mickey is sometimes part of the Drawn to Animation show in front of the Animation Building in Hollywood Pictures Backlot. There is a meet and greet inside the Animation Building after the show. |
Mike Wazowski

Disneyland: Have never seen at Disneyland
DCA: Mike used to be available for meet and greet after the moving Monster's Inc. show. But with the demise of that show, Mike seems to no longer visit with guests. |

Mr. Smee

Disneyland: When Mr. Smee visits he can usually be found with Captain Hook. I highly suggest asking a cast member exactly where he will be. Places to look on your own would include inside the Central Plaza where the Mickey and Walt statue is located; on the Sailing Ship Columbia; in front of Casey Jr.'s train in Fantasyland.

Disneyland: Small World hub in front and to the right of "it's a small world" in Fantasyland.
DCA: There is a small Chinese New Year with Mulan celebration that takes place several times a day. After Mulan walks out (very slowly) and is settled, she will happily pose for pictures. The best place to wait for her would be across from Golden Zephyr on the Golden State side. Check your guide or ask a character host for the exact times.
Mulan also can be seen inside the Animation Building in Hollywood Pictures Backlot in the Once Upon a Time Princess room. |
Mushu

Disneyland: Peter tends to be in Fantasyland, either near the walkway to Tomorrowland or near King Arthur's Carousel. However, he can also be found heading towards the Sailing Ship Columbia at times.
